Candlesticks
Old lace tulle can be used to make beautiful interior candlesticks that bring coziness to any room. And everything you need for them is definitely in every home.
To create such a decor, you will need a couple of small jars and several pieces of tulle. For their decoration it is better to take glue that can withstand high temperatures.
Vintage tablecloth
If the tulle on the windows doesn’t look very good, this is not a reason to throw it in the trash. It can be washed well, bleached and used as an original tablecloth. True, it will not be appropriate in a modern interior, but it will be perfect for a country house.
If the tulle is too transparent, then to make it look harmonious, I recommend laying a plain tablecloth in calm pastel shades underneath. Another option is to make a table runner from a small strip of tulle and linen fabric.
Chair covers
If If you know how to sew, you can easily make beautiful chair covers from tulle. By the way, you don’t have to cut anything special. The main thing is to measure the size of the chair back correctly so that everything works out the first time.
Additionally, lace tulle covers can be decorated with satin ribbons, pearl beads and other elements that you have on hand.
And the easiest option is to cut off a wide strip and tie it beautifully on a chair or secure the tulle with a beautiful brooch. If there is no brooch, it can be easily replaced with a satin ribbon in the same color, decorated with any suitable accessory.
Decorative pillowcases
Decorative pillowcases made of tulle will make the living room more cozy and warm. Ideally, old tulle is best combined with linen fabric. Such decor will perfectly complement the interior in the Provence style.
Lampshade
For this, you can use either a new lampshade (you can just buy a frame) or an old one you’re tired of. In the second case, it is enough to cut out the necessary shape and glue it to the frame.
If you have an unnecessary garland, then buy several small frames or make them yourself, and then decorate them with pieces of old tulle.
Table decor
If you are tired of your old table or it has gone out of fashion, then this is not a reason to write it off, because how it can be changed radically. And for this you will need a minimum of materials – old tulle and varnish to fix the result.
Mosquito net
The tulle that has been lying in the far drawer of the chest of drawers for several years is time to take to the country. There you can make a real mosquito net out of it. True, it will look much more interesting and will cost several times cheaper.
Window decor
You can also glue old tulle to the window glass. It will be something like traces of winter frosts, but it will look much better. But if you do not plan to leave such decor on the windows permanently, then it is better to glue the tulle with starch.
Pom-poms for decoration
And such pom-poms can be made to decorate a child’s room. They will look interesting in a multi-colored version. But they will also look good in a single-color version.
If desired, ready-made pom-poms can be decorated with rhinestones or painted in different colors.
Old tulle can also be used to decorate the entire house for the holiday. It is enough to simply wrap the balloon with tulle and decorate it with satin ribbons or artificial flowers, branches.
Decorate curtain tiebacks
Try making a bow from old tulle, attach a ribbon in the same color and such decoration can be used as a full-fledged curtain tieback.
Or you can make a simpler version of the holder, but no less beautiful. Tie small pieces of old tulle to the ribbon.
Bags
You can sew small bags from old tulle for washing linen or small items. You can even make them by hand, without using a sewing machine. Use regular satin ribbons as ties. You can also use these bags to store fruit.
