A Laconic Bathroom

The area of a two-room apartment in a panel house in Moscow is 49.6 sq. m., a family with two children lives in it. During the renovation, it was decided not to combine the bathroom with the toilet: for a family of four, this decision was conscious. Despite the small size of the room, the owners, choosing between a shower and a bathtub, preferred to leave the second option. The space is expanded only visually: the walls are lined with white rectangular tiles, which makes the interior seem lighter. An unobtrusive accent in the form of an ornament is made only in the area of the shower head.

A spacious cabinet under the sink serves as a storage space: all household appliances are hidden inside so as not to overload the small bathroom with details. Laconic decoration in neutral colors allows you to change the decor without difficulty and special costs: you only need to hang a new curtain over the bathtub and other towels.

Combined bathroom with natural-toned finishes

The area of the three-room apartment in a panel house is 65 sq. m. It was possible to place two full-fledged bathrooms here: the customers (a woman with two daughters) like to receive guests, so they installed toilets in both rooms, and a small washbasin with a mirror in one of the bathrooms.

The bathroom floor is covered with plain porcelain tiles, and the walls are tiled with two-tone tiles. The top is standard white, and the bottom is gray with a complex green undertone. The accents are the furniture with a wood texture and the curtain with a plant ornament. The cabinet under the sink and toilet are suspended. The sanitary appliance is adjacent to a non-load-bearing wall made of foam blocks, in which the installation is hidden. Thanks to the suspended elements, the room seems more spacious, and it is also easier to clean.

Marazzi porcelain stoneware and Kansay Paint were used for the finishing. The cabinet, sink, bathtub and toilet are Jacob Delafon.

Bathroom with bright details

The area of the apartment in a panel house is 50 sq. m. A young couple who recently had a baby live in this two-room apartment. The main requirement for the designer is simplicity of the interior with minimal effort and time spent on cleaning.

The bathroom, like the entire apartment, turned out to be light, but with contrasting elements of rich colors. Light blue paint was used as a finish, but square tiles were laid in the wet shower area and the lower section of the wall. When entering the room, the gaze rests on a bright mirror and a blue cabinet. Its glossy facade and lightweight design work to visually expand the space.

The project used Little Greene paint, Bardelli and Cezzle tiles. Furniture “Astra-Form”, sanitary ware Roca.

Exquisite “marble” bathroom with shower

A three-room apartment of 81 sq. m. is located in a panel house of the P-44T series. A businesswoman lives there with her first-grader son. The main style of the interior is American classic. The internal partitions are load-bearing, so redevelopment was not required. The bathrooms were combined by the previous tenants.

The owner asked to replace the bathtub with a shower cabin with transparent doors. The washing machine was placed under a single countertop made of artificial stone. The toilet was installed suspended, and utility cabinets were designed to store things and mask the pipes. The bathroom is faced with porcelain stoneware imitating marble, which makes the decor look noble and elegant.

The flooring and walls are Panaria porcelain stoneware. Furniture “Workshop-13”, plumbing Laufen, sconce lighting Eichholtz. Shower partition Vegas.

Combined bathroom project in blue tones

A small two-room apartment of 51 sq.m. is located in a panel house of the P44-T series and belongs to a young family with a child. The customers took advantage of the opportunity to redesign the bathroom and combined the bathroom with the toilet. This solution allowed them to construct a cabinet in the freed space, in which they hid the washing machine (the section to the right of the drawers). The entire storage system is thought out to the smallest detail: every centimeter is used, including the space above the suspended toilet. The furniture is made according to the sketches of the project authors.

Marazzi Italy tiles and Little Greene paint were used for finishing, and Wow porcelain stoneware was laid on the floor. Roca sanitary ware.

Bathroom in English style

The owners of a three-room apartment with an area of 75 sq. m. also faced restrictions when redeveloping an apartment in a panel house, so they only changed the bathroom, combining the toilet with the bathtub. The resulting space increased to 4 sq. m.

The owner of the apartment is a designer, so she created the interior for herself, her husband and daughter. The bathroom is faced with white “hog”, but this is not a tribute to fashion, but the result of the owner’s long-standing love for the decoration, which she first saw at her London friends. The elegance of the interior is given by the ceiling cornice and the floor carpet made of multi-colored ceramic elements. The main decoration of the bathroom is the dark emerald cabinet under the sink. The shower curtain has two layers: an external decorative one and an internal waterproof one.

Benjamin Moore paint, Adex and TopCer tiles were used for the decoration. Cabinet Caprigo, mirror “Signum”, sanitary ceramics Villeroy & Boch.

The entire apartment is decorated in black and white with gold elements, and the bathroom is no exception. Using a vertical “hog” laid in contrasting stripes, the designer optically increased the height of the room. Golden elements on the panels and lampshades, as well as a metallized bath screen, add luxury to the atmosphere. A washing machine was placed under the ceramic countertop, and a suspended cabinet with a sink was placed opposite it.

Bathroom in beige tones

Area of the three-room apartments in a panel house – 60 sq. m. As a result of the agreed redevelopment, the bathroom was enlarged due to the passage to the kitchen. The room has several niches created by the ventilation box and built-in closet in the hallway. Here, a bathtub with a beveled corner and a glass partition was placed. The washing machine was installed in a recess, and a spacious closet was constructed above.
