Zoning in this apartment is achieved with the help of partitions, a podium and textiles. The cabinet in the entrance area serves not only as a storage place, but also separates the kitchen from the hallway. The furniture set and bar counter are placed on the podium, which visually divides the room into two functional areas.

The living room turns into a bedroom thanks to the folding mechanism of the sofa and ceiling guides with thick curtains: they allow you to create a secluded bedroom in a minute. The TV is built into a special panel where the wires are hidden: it serves as a rack and separates the living room from the work area.

Project of a small studio apartment

The layout of this apartment is built around the walls separating the bathroom from the living area. The room is only 19.5 sq.m, but it houses not only a sofa and a TV, but also a dining area. At night, a special closet turns into a comfortable sleeping place: its doors open and a double mattress falls onto the sofa.

The table in the apartment also transforms: it can serve as a coffee table, a desk or a place to seat numerous guests. The kitchen set has two rows of wall cabinets up to the ceiling. They do not seem massive due to the white color and glass doors. Between the kitchen and the room there is a large mirror, which looks like another window and optically expands the space.

This small Scandinavian-style apartment seems larger than it is. The rooms are shrouded in white, which allows light from the windows to penetrate into every corner. The main room is divided into several functional zones: kitchen, living room and dining room. A tiny bedroom is hidden behind the swing doors. The role of partitions is played by old wooden doors. The hallway houses not only a wardrobe, but also an office. The rustic ambience and modern furniture and appliances are harmoniously intertwined in the decor, and the bright decor tells the story of the apartment owners.

Design of a 34 sq m apartment

The small footage of the apartment did not prevent the owner from placing everything she needed in it. Several techniques are used at once to separate the space of the kitchen and living room: lighting, furniture and hanging plants. The sofa and chest of drawers act as partitions without stealing space. An original wardrobe is constructed between the hallway and the bed: some facades “look” into the corridor, and others – into the bedroom. The owner keeps a collection of her paintings under the sofa cushions. Thanks to the light finish, framed paintings and mirrors, the apartment looks comfortable, spacious and functional.

Design project of a 34 sq m studio

To save precious square meters, the designers of the Geometrium studio provided for many hidden storage systems, built a podium for the bed and used the balcony, arranging a study there. The hallway area was separated from the kitchen by light slatted partitions that let in natural light. Built-in wardrobes were designed in the living room and hallway: in the room, the storage system occupies the entire wall, which makes the decor look neat and laconic. In the dining area there is a folding table, and the windowsill has been turned into an additional seating area.
