Hallway

The entrance area is striking in its originality: there is a bio-fireplace here. This immediately shows the originality of both the apartment itself and its owner. In addition, the hallway is decorated with a stylish pendant lamp and a wardrobe, the front of which is lined with wooden planks of different shades of American walnut.

The layout of the entrance area is also unusual, the wardrobe performs two functions at once: behind one door is hidden the entrance to the dressing room, and externally it is absolutely unnoticeable, behind the others – a storage system. The wardrobe was made according to the author’s sketches.

The Odeon chandelier in the entrance area Clear Glass Fringe Chandelier is made in the Art Deco style, popular in the middle of the last century. It looks festive and adds historical character to the interior. Uniform lighting is provided by Centrsvet Drop overhead lights.

In the design of a 2-room apartment of 63 sq. m., decorative items are often also functional. Thus, a mirror standing on the floor in the entrance area by Basset mirror company not only visually expands it and allows you to see yourself in full growth, but is also a real decoration of the room.

At the same time, the functional parts of the interior “hide”, disguising themselves as the surrounding environment. Thus, the door to the dressing room is hidden behind the closet door, and the door to the bathroom is installed flush with the wall in a hidden frame and painted in the same color, which makes it almost invisible.

The main color of the finish was a light gray-beige tone Little Greene Wood Ash. The contrasting tone was the dark gray tone, which was used to paint the bathroom “block”. The contrast of the two shades is emphasized above the headboard by decorative moldings in the form of a cornice.

Kitchen-living room

A kitchen cabinet was built for the kitchen furniture. a special box made of plasterboard sheets, as a result of which it does not stand out in the interior. Gray facades merge with the color of the walls, wall cabinets have doors veneered with wood of the same shade as the floors. Backlighting of the work area not only provides convenience of cooking, but also emphasizes the beauty of the wooden finish of the facades.

Lighting in the modern design of a two-room apartment is given great attention. Thus, the bar area is highlighted by pendant lamps in the industrial style, which harmonize well with the sconce on the wall in the loft style. Additionally, the dining area is accentuated by reddish-beige tones in the leather upholstery of the Sol Y Luna chairs.

One of the walls of the kitchen borders on the bathroom, and has a significant width – a ventilation box runs through it. To ensure that the space is not wasted, the width of the wall was used to install shelves both on the kitchen side and in the bathroom.

The designers managed to achieve interesting decorative effects by using a play of colors and textures. The sofa is upholstered in light pearl-gray textiles, the curtains made of thick fabric have a bluish tint, two wicker coffee tables – one black and one white – stand out in contrast against the long-pile milky carpet. A dark gray chest of drawers of simple shapes in the industrial style looks stylish against the almost white wall.

The apartment design uses several different levels and lighting schemes. The general is provided by overhead lamps, black in the kitchen area and white in the living room. Decorative accents and visual separation of zones are provided by pendant lamps, at the middle level the light is provided by a sconce in the kitchen, and a Ligne Roset Easy light floor lamp with an almost white lampshade in the living room. Such a variety of lighting devices allows you to select different lighting scenarios depending on your mood and time of day.

Instead of a standard TV area, a projector was placed in the living room. The wall separating the bedroom area is turned into a screen – part of it is covered with a special paint called Paint-on-Screen, which has high light-reflecting properties and is completely safe in an ecological sense. This is much more convenient than a screen, which must be removed for a while when it is not in use. The projector is mounted on the ceiling between the kitchen and living room areas.

The apartment is located on a high floor, its windows offer a beautiful view, so the designers installed panoramic windows. A lounge area for two was arranged on the balcony. The balcony floor was covered with Apavisa Regeneration White Natural porcelain tiles, the wall was decorated with clinker brick. The balcony seating area is illuminated by a sconce – exactly the same as in the kitchen area.

Bedroom

In the modern design of a two-room apartment, the division of the common and private areas is carried out with the help of glass partitions along the entire height of the room. This increases the lighting in the bedroom, which is especially important because it has a work area.

The soft headboard is gray. Bedside tables of different colors and shapes create a slight asymmetry, emphasized by the asymmetrical bedside lighting: on one side it is provided by a black metal lamp fixed to the wall, on the other – a small lamp on a clothespin attached to the shelf above the bed.

The pendant above the bed is designer, it uses very thin white veneer strips as a diffuser. The light passing through them creates an interesting decorative effect. The work area is very simple – a strict wooden table, made according to the sketches of the project designers, and next to it – a dark gray Minotti armchair of laconic forms.

Bathroom

The bathroom is decorated in the same tones as the entire design of the 2-room apartment. Carbonate rock slabs are used in the decoration. They are used to decorate the walls of the “wet” zone – the shower cabin and the bathtub niche. The black and gray marble pattern of the slabs contrasts with the light neutral shades of porcelain stoneware and cement used in the decoration of the walls and floor. Some of the walls are painted with moisture-resistant Little Greene paint in French Grey.

The black Centrsvet Drop lamps on the ceiling are finished with gold and serve as decorative elements in the bathroom design. The faucets are the most modern, Axor Hansgrohe collection. The transparent walls of the shower cabin make the room spacious and add lightness. Under the sink is a cabinet made of dark American walnut, on top it is covered with a countertop made of artificial stone, into which the sink is built.

The lighting of the wash area is provided by two pendants with long matte lampshades, made in the Art Deco style, hanging from both sides of the large mirror. The cornflower blue color of the artificially aged wooden doors covering the storage system and the washing and drying machines brings some life to the strict atmosphere.
