Provence style kitchen

A small apartment with low ceilings turned into a comfortable home for a young housewife and her parents. The kitchen takes up only 6 square meters, but thanks to thoughtful ergonomics, it fits everything you need. Provence motifs are supported by light wallpaper, Roman blinds with a plant pattern, a set with a frame on the facades, antique furniture and retro-style appliances.

The ceiling was visually raised with the help of a vertical strip on the walls and overhead swivel lamps above the work area. The facades of the corner set are made of ash veneer and painted to preserve the wood texture. The built-in refrigerator is to the left of the sink.

Scandinavian kitchen 9 sq. m.

A family with two children lives in a two-room apartment in a panel house. Every day, all the inhabitants gather for dinner. The designers suggested arranging the kitchen set linearly so that the dining area would be spacious. The work area is decorated with a wide mirror in a carved frame, hung high enough and therefore protected from splashes.

On one of the walls there is a TV on a bracket, on the other – a huge canvas painted by the owner’s sister. The kitchen turned out to be budget – the furniture was purchased at IKEA and painted graphite to make the furniture less recognizable.

Kitchen with bright details

Area of the room is 9 sq. m. The furnishings were united by color – the walls were painted to match the glass tiles on the apron. The air duct, which is prohibited from being dismantled, was also tiled and a TV was hung on it. The kitchen cabinets go up to the ceiling, which makes the interior look cohesive and gives more storage space.

Snow-white kitchen of 7 sq. m.

The owner asked the designer to organize a dining area in a small room, build in a stove, refrigerator and think over a spacious storage system. The kitchen layout is square, the kitchen set is corner, combined with the window sill. Shallow cabinets are arranged under it, but the window opening is not overloaded: the window is decorated with transparent Roman blinds. The mirror facade optically increases the space and adds depth to the kitchen. The refrigerator is built into a custom-made kitchen set.

The door unit was dismantled, and the kitchen was combined with the hallway using a cabinet with a niche. It contains a dining area with a round table, the tablecloth of which is covered with a mirrored tabletop. The eclectic interior is supported by chairs – two modern and two classic. A white metal chandelier with a thin frame complements the dining area. Wooden inserts on the walls of the cabinets add coziness.

Kitchen with a balcony in a panel nine-story building

The apartment belongs to designer Galina Yuryeva, who furnished and decorated her house herself. The insulated loggia was combined with the kitchen, leaving the window sill block. It was turned into a small bar counter, which can be used as a place for cooking. Also, the refrigerator was moved to the loggia.

The antique mirror above the bar was found in a family village house. The accent wall in the dining area was painted by Galina herself: paints left over from the renovation were used for this. Thanks to the panel, the kitchen space visually expanded. The decor features comic book pages that the designer’s eldest son loves.

Kitchen with glossy facades

This kitchen in a panel house is also decorated in light colors. To make rational use of space, a corner kitchen with smooth, snow-white doors that reflect light was installed. The wall cabinets are arranged in two rows, up to the ceiling, and are illuminated with spotlights.

The dining set consists of an extendable table from IKEA and Victoria Ghost chairs. Transparent plastic furniture helps to make the atmosphere more airy, which is especially important in small spaces. Another feature of the kitchen is a well-thought-out storage system framing the doorway.

Kitchens in panel houses are rarely large. The main techniques that designers use when decorating interiors are aimed at expanding the space and its functionality: light walls and furniture, transformable furniture, thoughtful lighting and laconic decor.
