Anthurium
Anthurium can become a bright accent in the hallway. Despite the fact that the plant is quite exotic, it does not need special watering and bright sunlight.
During flowering, as well as vegetation, it “likes” partial shade, but in winter, diffused artificial lighting will do.
Anthurium will delight with bright flowering from early spring to late autumn. In order for the inflorescences to be large, you will need to take care of special fertilizer, which can be bought at any flower shop.
Begonia
And this is, perhaps, the most popular plant among modern housewives. Its demand is not difficult to explain – begonia requires practically no care. It is enough to water it from time to time.
Penumeration for this flower is ideal conditions for growth. But direct sunlight is strictly prohibited for it, as this can lead to the fact that the begonia leaves will become small, pale and nondescript.
When choosing a plant for the hallway, give preference to such varieties of begonia as “Drege”, “Rex”, “Odorata”, “Masona”.
Sansevieria
Shadow and partial shade help sansevieria to truly reveal its beauty. Under such conditions, the contrast of color spots on the elongated leaves becomes even brighter and more noticeable. And if the flower “appreciates” your efforts to select the ideal place for it, it will definitely thank you with long flowering.
During this period, it “throws out” long branches with white and slightly yellowish inflorescences.
Clivia
The plant is exotic and slightly capricious, but I believe that, looking at its gorgeous flowering, you can forgive it everything.
It blooms twice a year, in late autumn and early spring. During this period, tall ribbed shoots are formed on the plant.
In order for the plant to develop and grow well, it needs light partial shade, but direct sunlight is dangerous for it, as it can burn the leaves.
Cyclamen
This is the most unpretentious plant that easily tolerates shade. But at the same time, it has beautiful and abundant flowering, which will delight you for more than one week.
The color of the buds can vary from white to purple, there are also specimens with a dark burgundy color.
For the hallway, it is better to choose hybrids such as cyclamen kossensis, persian, cypriot.
Fern
This plant does not bloom, but this does not prevent it from being the center of attention all the time. This happens due to its bright foliage.
In order for it to grow rapidly, you need to take care of ideal conditions for it. It loves shade, moist and fertile soil. If you initially provide such conditions, the fern will “thank you” with its beautiful appearance.
Nolina
A perennial plant that came to us from Mexico. But the “curly hair” does not tolerate bright sunlight and high temperatures at all. In order for the flower to look presentable, it needs pleasant partial shade, which is most often observed in the hallway.
Please note that Nolina loves flat ceramic pots.
Monstera
Monstera loves wet care – regular watering, wiping and polishing of leaves, but at the same time it can easily do without bright sunlight, and therefore is considered an ideal plant for the hallway.
But remember that this flower needs regular replanting. At least once a year it needs to be changed to a larger pot.
Climbing Philodendron
If it is possible to place a pot with a climbing flower in the hallway, then I recommend giving preference to the climbing philodendron. This plant does not like sunlight and strong shade.
Optimal conditions for its maintenance are light partial shade and regular watering, which in winter should be reduced to once a week.
Fuchsia
For lovers of flowering plants, I suggest getting several tubs of fuchsia. This beautiful perennial loves the sun, but also grows well in the shade and partial shade.
The color of the buds can be either creamy pink or brighter, for example, lilac-violet or deep red.
Even in the hallway you can make a green corner. The main thing is to choose the right plants that tolerate a little shade. In my list, I tried to collect several color options that combine well with each other and create a beautiful composition.
