Shapes of plasterboard arches
Thanks to the huge variety of geometric shapes and the flexibility of plasterboard, it is possible to choose the perfect solution for any interior.
Square
The simplest and most widespread design. A square straight arch can have a simple and laconic look without unnecessary additions or be decorated with various shelves, niches, lighting, built-in lamps, curtains, mobile partitions or screens.
Round
Such semicircular or horseshoe-shaped openings in the form of an arc are a fairly common and frequently used interior element. The round model is considered classic and is also called Roman.
Half-arch
They have a geometrically clear radius and are best suited for decorating large rooms with high ceilings. Semi-arches can have a single-color scheme or be decorated with stylized colonnades, moldings and other decor.

Trapezoid
It is distinguished by its non-standard design, which is quite difficult to play up in the interior. However, such deliberately broken lines can sometimes become a real design find.
Figured
Fantasy curvilinear forms become a bright and most noticeable accent of the entire room. A figured arch is a great decoration for doorways or used as a frame for a recess located in a wall.
Oblique
Such a dominant element as an arched structure at an angle forms a single and integral interior composition.
Eastern/Muslim
An Eastern arch can have the shape of a pointed dome, be complemented by jagged and wavy reliefs or decorated with complex miniature rich patterned ornaments.

Examples of plasterboard structures in various styles
Decoration options in different styles:
- Classic. For classics, refined and elegant forms are preferable. For example, a Roman semicircular structure or an arched opening decorated with volumetric stucco elements or columns will be an excellent solution, giving the design even more solemnity and expressiveness.
- Modern. A laconic arch with a well-thought-out design, in the form of monochromatic bright or neutral coverings, will harmoniously fit into a modern style.
- Provence. French Provence suggests finishing the openings with a wooden edging, decorating with carvings or natural stonework, which will look especially convincing.
- Loft. Arched passages decorated with natural or artificial stone, brick, tiled masonry or openings with a slightly sloppy and rough finish will allow you to delve even deeper into the urban style.
- High-tech. This style is characterized by the use of smooth, clear lines and discreet design. An unusual and irregular arch, painted to match the overall design, will fit perfectly into high-tech.
