Storing spices in the kitchen

A narrow rack installed behind the kitchen door will not take up much space – a depth of 10 centimeters is enough for this. If you have a lot of spices, you can make a shelf from floor to ceiling.

Just be sure to provide the shelves with small sides so that the jars do not fall out if the door is accidentally opened with force.

A place for an ironing board in the bedroom

In principle, an ironing board is often placed behind the door, but this is not always convenient and safe. It is at an angle and often falls when the door is closed.

It is necessary to install special hooks-fasteners so that the board is pressed tightly to the wall. The cover should be clean and neat.

Bookshelf in a child’s room

A child’s room usually does not have cabinets with an extensive library, because it is not a study. But you still need to put the existing children’s books and textbooks in place.

To do this, it is enough to install a shallow rack – 20-25 centimeters will be enough. If there is less space there, you can make the shelves yourself, and place the books frontally against the wall. This will take up no more than 10 centimeters.
