Flowerpots

For creating outdoor flowerpots and vases, it is best to use concrete scraps. Due to their high strength and versatility, you can make flowerpots with a unique design from its scraps, which will amaze guests from the very beginning. You can use packages, bottles, buckets and even boxes as a mold for pouring.

This flowerpot will withstand all the vagaries of the weather.

Path or decor

You can also make decorations from the remains of the concrete mixture by pouring the diluted composition onto large plant leaves. When the concrete dries, the leaf should be peeled off.

The finished craft can be used as a decoration for a flower bed or a birdbath. If there is a lot of concrete left, you can lay out a garden path from leaves.

Armchair

Craftsmen often make outdoor furniture from discarded transport pallets. Pallets are made of wood, so to avoid splinters, they must be carefully treated with sandpaper. We have already shown examples of MK for creating furniture from pallets.

A chair made of pallets can be painted and complemented with comfortable soft pillows, which are easy to sew with your own hands.

Tabletop

If you have ceramic tiles left over after the renovation, don’t rush to get rid of them: such wear-resistant and beautiful material can transform even an old wooden table. The tiles should be glued to the tabletop using special glue, and the seams should be treated with grout. After covering the wood with moisture-proof compounds, the table can be left on the veranda or in the gazebo.

Table or tray

An interesting way to decorate the landscape is to lay out the top of an old stump or tree cut with a mosaic. So it can serve not only as an interesting decoration for a summer cottage, but also as a table in a gazebo or on the veranda. You will need a little material.

You can also get an exclusive tray from the remains of the mosaic, glue and varnish. Unlike wood, it will not be afraid of spilled coffee or greasy drops.

Hanging shelf

This compact design is perfect for storing toiletries outdoors, as well as creating a vertical garden. The shelf will look great in a gazebo, on a fence, in a barn: it can be moved and hung in any suitable place. After the summer season is over, you can take the product home and use it to decorate your balcony.

You will need leftover OSB boards, screws, and a few bars to make it. Strong twine can be used as a fastener.

Bowl for a fire pit

If your summer house does not yet have a full-fledged place to relax, you can make do with a regular bowl made from leftover facade tiles, wild stone, paving stones, or brick. To do this, you need to dig a hole to protect the area from fire and form sides. There are many options for laying: the material can become the base for the bowl or its decorative addition.

Barbeque

If there are enough bricks left after construction, and a place for rest has already been determined, create a barbecue from the leftover bricks. This can be a small “camping” structure that is easy to assemble and disassemble, or a full-fledged outdoor grill, built solidly. This barbecue looks aesthetically pleasing and it is a pleasure to cook on it.

Paths and borders

If you have a lot of bricks left over after dismantling an old stove or shed, you can lay out a garden path from them: in a checkerboard pattern, a herringbone pattern, in a circle – there are plenty of options. Bricks are also used to create beautiful frames for flower beds and paths, combined with boards, pebbles and boulders. If you do it carefully, your summer cottage will be transformed!

Bench

To build such a bench or bench, you will need several concrete blocks and wooden beams. With these materials, you can make a seat of any width and height: the blocks do not require maintenance, they are stable and durable. If desired, they can be painted.

Flowerbed

You can create vertical flowerbeds from hollow blocks, which will save space on a small summer cottage. They should stand on a flat base, and for filling it is necessary to choose fertile soil and unpretentious plants. Greenery goes well with building blocks and looks very stylish.

Fences

After replacing a leaky roof, slate or corrugated sheets remain: they can be used as borders for beds or flower beds. The material looks neat, creating a frame for the ground and preventing it from crumbling.

The old slate must be sawn into equal parts and treated with lime. For strength, wooden pegs should be driven into the sides of the bed or flowerbed.

Rolled path

An excellent option for a path at the dacha in rainy weather in the area where water stagnates. A wooden path from the remains of clapboard or boards is made using a flexible fire hose. A convenient solution: unroll the path after the rain, dry it in sunny weather and put it under the canopy.

To make the wood last longer, protect it with stain.

Tool holder

Any dacha looks more attractive if it is tidy. The best use for PVC pipe trimmings is to create an organizer for garden tools: rakes, shovels and pitchforks.

Pipes of different diameters should be secured to a wooden strip or directly to the wall. Organized tools will be easier to find, and the place for storing them will look much neater.

Tables and benches

The remains of the timber after construction are a real treasure. Even if there is little material and it is not suitable for building a gazebo or a fence, you can make a low bench or a coffee table from timber. Such a product will look impressive not only in the country, but also in an apartment.

Processed wood looks noble and serves as a decoration of the landscape.

Don’t rush to throw away the remains of building materials – you can create many unusual items from them, turn them into decor or furniture.
